The new Blood Orange processing season in Sicily has started for more than a month.
The crop is characterised by larger volumes of small-medium fruit size and a large volume goes for processing as unfit for the fresh market.
The prices of fresh fruit for processing are maintained at higher level due to the large demand from the processing industries.
