CitroGlobe accurately select day after day the raw materials for our fruit derivatives in order to propose only the best to our clients. See below where our products origin and of course we are always able to guarantee the traceability and quality documentation for all the items, for a safe product and in accordance with the most restrictive rules for food and beverages.
Most of our raw materials are 100% made in Sicily.
Blood Oranges, oranges, mandarins, lemons and prickly pear are cultivated, picked and processed in Sicily and they represent our core business.
Blood Oranges are cultivated in Catania area; Lemons come from Siracusa, Acireale and Trapani areas. Prickly Pear from San Cono (Enna) and Paternò (Catania). Mandarins mainly come from Palermo and in limited quantities from Catania and Siracusa territory.
Some of the fruits used in our products are cultivated and processed in Calabria like the Bergamot (Citrus Bergamia, a unique fruit of Calabria), clementines, blond oranges for orange concentrates low pulp and low sediment, or natural cloudifier for soft drinks production.
Other fruits, exclusively made in Italy, come from other part of Italy. As an example apples from Trentino region, kiwi from Verona area, peach and apricot from Emilia Romagna, Campania, Puglia and Basilicata and grape juices from Puglia.
Thanks to the cooperation with selected worldwide co-packers we can offer several fruit based product that are not available in Italy or products with characteristics (acidity, brix, color, etc.) different from typical Italian products.
